I am the performance painter at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald in Canada and the Raffles Hotel in Dubai. I have been part of the art scene for more than 20 years. I paint nature in bright bold colours, with a warmth and joy that you can't help but feel happy when you look at it. I connect to people in a unique way through my live painting experience. Art has always had a way of breaking down barriers. Time and again it has provided a place where strangers can find common ground and open the door to communicate with one another. I paint Hope. My message is Hope. My story is Hope and my vision is all about Hope.
I have a goal to raise $1 million for charity. My live painting for charities has raised over $581,000. One of my paintings sold for $50,000 for Little Warriors. I donate 100% of the sale of these paintings to charities like The Stollery Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, The Glenrose Hospital, YESS Organization, Lurana Shelter, WIN House, YWCA, Alberta Cancer Society, Kids with Cancer Society, Uncles at Large, Edmonton Dream Center, Compassion House, & the Lois Hole Hospital.
I am also the artist in residence in Dubai at the Raffles Hotel Dubai! You can view my Dubai story here: twitter.com/globaledmonton/status/847229746505068545
One of my canvases was a $100,000 Lexus Luxury car for the Vignettes Design Show. Another was a piano I painted on as an art installation piece for the YESS Organization Urban Roots Garden in Edmonton, Alberta. I have a 40x26 foot mural installation in Edmonton of a larger than life forest with flowers.
I’ve collaborated with wonderful businesses like Poppy Barley Shoes, Jacek Chocolate and Fabloomosity Floral Company.
