This painting is about letting people love you. I created this painting while dealing with an injury and have been using a wheelchair and crutches with very little weight bearing on my knee since the mountain biking accident 11 weeks ago. I have had to rely on others helping me a lot during these many weeks. And by letting people help me, I am in a way, allowing them to love me. Letting others love you is a skill to practice as I am very independent and want to do all things by myself. By this process of healing my knee is teaching me to let go a little bit and let others be there for me.
