This one is from my abstracted forest series. It’s quite different than my usual paintings, but sometimes you just have to let different happen. I love the colourful hope it has in the stark forest, like new things on the horizon. My paintings are a reflection of me and what’s going on in my life. Painting is almost like keeping a journal. You learn things about yourself when you’re creating. It’s like therapy. When you enter your flow state and just enjoy the creative process and let go you can discover other things that are there waiting to come out.
