The names of my paintings come from my musical background. Recently, my song writing has begun to flow again. It took about a month of sitting down, forcing myself to sit in front of the piano. For awhile nothing would come. But I kept making myself spend the time at least sitting there. Slowly a chord progression would build. Then a lyric or two. Then a verse. A chorus. Another verse. Songwriting is a journey that I am excited to be walking through again. And my art has influenced & guided me in finding my voice.
