During me artist in residency at the Dubai Raffles Hotel, I painted a series of mountain paintings and while I was painting them, people from all over the world would stop and tell me that looks like their home in Pakistan or Sweden. It was interesting to hear people connecting to the painting because it reminded them of their homeland. This painting is about the connections I made with people during my live painting experience.
