Some people ask me why I paint mountains. Maybe it has something to do with my childhood and the happy memories I have from visiting the mountains in the summertime. I also have fond memories of taking road trips with my brother when we were teenagers to go snowboarding in the mountains. We would talk and laugh the whole way there. He’s always made me laugh and I consider him a shining soul.
