I used to be a part of a travelling choir that was a part of the church I was attending as a teenager. We sang black gospel music and tat’s the music I grew up listening to and singing. We would take old gyms and out choir director, Agnes Brown, would sing passionately up and down the aisles like in the movie Sister Act. She was a big influence on my life and I miss her greatly .
