Recently was part of a fundraiser & was asked to share the inspiration behind the painting. It was all about dreams. “The thing about dreams is that they can remain just a dream for your entire life. But The instant you start, it’s no longer just a dream. You are in pursuit. You’ve crossed the line of dreaming to reality and you are working out your dream. One brush stroke, one page written, one house built, one patient cared for, one successful experiment. Dreams become reality overnight and also play out over a lifetime. Don’t dream it once and put it away. Write it down. Talk about it to people trust. Take steps towards your dream and before you know it, you are doing it.. the pursuit of the dream is part of dreaming. it could actually be the funnest part. Sometimes the dream feels like work. Other times it might come easy. .. somedays you will laugh about it in gratitude. Other days you might wonder why you pursued this dream in the first place.
The funny thing about dreams is that they don’t always pan out exactly how we hoped for. At times it might seem like you are on the wrong path. Other times it might feel differently than what you thought it would .But maybe the Universe has a bigger plan. One you cannot yet see. One you may not have thought you could do. You might end up doing things you never realized you could do. So dream 1000 dreams and see where it takes you.”
